Battle of the Lenses (Dailies total 1 vs Dailies Aqua Comfort)
Hi guys,
Its been a while since I post my blog. Well I was busy at school and also working. I'm going to talk about my work for awhile, so, you guys must know that I worked in a spa before and now I'm working in a Japanese restaurant as a Chef. Okay, now we want to touch base on the contact lenses.
Sooo, you guys might know that I have a not good eyes (myopia) and always use glasses or contact lenses, but I always wear a coloured contact ones which is the Fresh look
They are the (most) comfortable coloured lenses that I ever wear, its soft, gives you natural eye colour look and also small diameter that fits your eyes. It also comes into different colour but it can only be worn for 2 weeks.
Then, one day I was watching youtube channel called 'Tried and Tested' I love the show as it gives honest review and also it covers beauty and food related stuff which I like, so here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZsafagh8yY where she was talking about Dailies contact lenses. I was like, okay it is a sponsorship program but I think I'm gonna try it myself as I never wear a daily contact lens especially the transparent one, so why don't i try these baby
After that I began searching and purchase one for myself, the 30 packs one, I was tempted because its on discount and also I don't have to clean and store, just use and throw it out daily.
Here's the picture:
It turns out fine and very comfy, but there's some issue when I'm going to take it out as it is invisible so I keep poking my eye balls. Maybe it is because I'm not used to taking off the invisible one but I will try to practice more.
After this one is finished, I was going to order some more and I saw this one:
It was from the same company but cheaper in price, I though oh its cheaper and it said 'Aqua comfort' it might be even nicer so I decided to try. So I bought both the total 1 and the aqua comfort. I wear there contact for work in the kitchen with the ramen boiler and the griller all day for 7 hours straight without using the eye drops. The dailies total was fine and just quite discomfort during the end of the day while the aqua comfort is worse. It feels like they are tight in the eyes on the end of the day. There's once I used the aqua for 2 days in a row and it makes my eye irritated. It also becomes harder to take out, maybe because it lacks of water and it sticking really tight to my eyeballs making it hard to take out.
Here's my eyes after the usage:
you can see the redness, but after not wearing the contacts for few days and after putting dry eyes solutions (i'm using Visine eye drops) it's getting so much better.
After comparing both of the contacts....
I have come into a conclusion that the dailies one is very comfortable compared the aqua plus even tho the aqua is much more cheaper (well the price says it, lol). If you love travelling or working for a whole day and not really into eye drops I think dailies total would be great. If you have a light activity and just wearing the contact for a short time, aqua would be fine for you, but dailies 1 would give you extra comfort too :). I made this comparison because I feel like there's not much reviews about these contact and this is a good contact for you guys to try :). I hope this is useful for people who wants to buy contacts. Thanks guys for reading and I see you on the next post.
